Generally school begins the Wednesday before Labor Day and ends the last Friday in May. This is subject to change depending on the amount of snow days used. TCA complies with the Compulsory School Attendance Laws of Pennsylvania which means we go to school for 180 days. In the event of excessive snow days, we comply using the hourly equivalent. To comply with truancy laws, doctor’s notes are required for three or more consecutive days absent.
